ELLA LOUDON

Ella Loudon is a London and New York-based actress, artist, writer and producer whose work spans film, theatre and fashion.

Born in Edinburgh and raised between Scotland and London, Ella moved to New York, where she trained at Atlantic Theater Company, the Acting Studio and Shakespeare & Company, alongside studying with renowned acting teacher Harold Guskin. Her theatre career began with Shakespeare & Company, where she played Miranda in The Tempest, followed by roles including Banquo in Macbeth, Guiderius in Cymbeline, Phoebe in As You Like It and Viola in Twelfth Night. Her work has continued across both American and British theatre, including an all female production of Othello and the critically acclaimed opera Mother of Us All.

On screen, Ella recently appeared in Will Gluck’s One Night Only, alongside Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner, playing Gorgeous Vivian.

Ella is also the star of Women of Will, a two hander developed from the work of her mentor, the late theatre director and writer Tina Packer. The production, presented with support from Soho Theatre, explores Shakespeare’s evolving portrayal of women and has toured between New York, London and Edinburgh.

Alongside her acting, Ella is an accomplished visual artist and works across writing and producing. Her creative practice reflects a curiosity that extends beyond performance, with a particular interest in storytelling, art and projects that create meaningful cultural impact.
