Born in Bilbao, Spain, Jon Kortajarena was discovered at 18 and booked his first campaigns for Just Cavalli and Versace within his first year of modelling.

Now one of the most recognisable faces in fashion, Jon has worked with the industry’s most influential photographers including Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Mert & Marcus, Steven Klein and Inez & Vinoodh, and has appeared on the covers of Vogue, GQ, V Man, L’Officiel Hommes, Elle Man and Harper’s Bazaar.

His career-defining relationship with Tom Ford began with the designer’s first campaign and continued for nine seasons, establishing Jon as one of Ford’s most enduring muses. He has since fronted campaigns for Chanel, Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Bulgari, Balmain, Karl Lagerfeld, Hugo Boss and Carolina Herrera, alongside major fragrance campaigns for Guerlain and Bulgari.

Jon continues to work at the forefront of fashion, with recent credits including covers and editorials for Esquire Turkey, AnOther Man China and White Paper, alongside campaigns for Zara, Karl Lagerfeld and El Corte Inglés.

Recognised by Vogue US as one of the most important male models of all time and by Forbes among the world’s most influential models, Jon has become a defining figure in contemporary fashion.

Alongside modelling, Jon has established a successful acting career, making his film debut in Tom Ford’s A Single Man before appearing in Acantilado, Andron, The Aspern Papers and Quantico. He is also a committed philanthropist and has worked with Save the Children and Greenpeace.
