Nouri is a 20-year-old Brooklyn-based model, creative producer, and casting director. Outside of the fashion world, she’s been playing music since she was 5 years old starting with guitar, to piano and vocals, and later drum set/percussion. This lead to her joining marching band, jazz band, and wind ensemble in high school and eventually began creating her own music.
She is also very passionate about activism and previously worked for Oxfam, a U.K. non-profit whose goal is to end the injustice of poverty, when she first moved to New York. After working with Allure Magazine last February, Nouri decided to pursue modeling and later production full time while volunteering and making music on her days off.
She has since casted and produced fashion stories for Vogue China, Vogue Me, Vogue Italia, Nylon Magazine, Primary Paper, and others. She has modeled for Aerie, Outdoor Voices, Apple, Glossier, Target, Refinery 29, The Violet Book, and others.
Nouri is a quirky, altruistic, go-getter and a lover of all things creative. She aims to be as inclusive as possible when casting for her projects by considering all ages, sizes, genders, and ethnicities. She hopes to be able to provide more opportunities for independent models and young creatives through her production and casting work.
