LAURIDS SEIDEL

Laurids Seidel was born in Vienna and began his ballet training at the age of seven.
From 2021 he studied at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera, and trained in summer courses at the Royal Ballet School and the English National Ballet School in London. 

During his studies he danced leading and solo roles in the Academy's productions at the Vienna State Opera, including Solor in La Bayadère.

For the 2024/25 season he joined the Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre, dancing in productions like Swan Lake, Manon, Onegin, La Fille mal gardée and Bolero.

Since the 2025/26 season he has been a member of the Vienna State Ballet.

In 2023 Laurids Seidel was cast exclusive by Hedi Slimane for the Celine Homme Summer 2024 campaign.

He has since shot two campaigns for Emporio Armani, with Alasdair McLellan and Bruno Staub, and opened the Emporio Armani show in January 2025.
His editorial work includes Icon with Bruno and Nico Vanmossevelde, Double Magazine with Alasdair McLellan, and Vogue Portugal with Kosmas Pavlos.
